Real Tamale United (RTU) captain David Sandan Abagna has made the final 28man squad released by coach Milovan Rajevac for the African Cup of Nations (2021) on Monday evening.

David Sandan Abagna was part of the five home based players to make the 31man pre-tournament squad that has been training in Doha, Qatar for about two weeks now. But Mohammed Kudus having been declared unfit by Ajax has still made the squad. Felix Afena Gyan has not been released by Roma and Clermont Foot midfielder Salis Abdul Samed also missed out on the final list for the tournament which kicks off on Sunday, January 9, 2022 in Cameroon.
