Have you ever imagined how Fancy Gadam and Maccasio collaboration might sound?
I believe we all at some points in our lives imagine how Fancy Gadam and Maccasio collaboration would sound like. I equally believe that music fans in the Northern region would give anything to have these two top stars on the same song.
We literally wake up every day longing for collaborations with our favourite musicians especially Fancy Gadam and Maccasio, but it appears that they have some sort of self-pride that hinders our wishes from being fulfilled.
Fancy Gadam and Maccasio may either not realize how much people seek a collaboration from them, or they do but choose to let their ego take centre stage.
I have personally tried to have a conversation with music fans about this and some fans have actually expressed strongly their wishes to have them on a song.
A fan who identified himself as Abdul Malik Mumin said
“If I had the power I will certainly go to whatever length to make a Fancy Gadam-Maccasio collaboration a reality, I will love to hear how they sound together on one song”
The Tamale music industry is undoubtedly next to Accra in the country, with hundreds of creative and talented arts seeking attention and recognition through their music and numerous collaborations, but Maccasio and Fancy Gadam aren’t finding it among themselves.
A Maccasio and Fancy Gadam partnership is clearly at the top of the list of the most eagerly anticipated music collaborations of all time in Tamale but then, the two have denied us the pleasure of listening to a combination of energetic rap deliveries from Maccasio and some sweet melodies from Fancy Gadam.
The two have been at the opposite ends of each other for far too long, and I think it’s high time they started squashing their beef for the numerous fans out there who have been longing for a collaboration from them.
We’ve seen them both a number instances supporting and sending good wishes to each other when it comes to staging concerts at the big venues but what’s still delaying their collaboration?
Some of us are well aware how these dudes have been on good terms despite the rivalry staged by the media and fans of the two stars but Fancy Gadam and Maccasio are still finding it hard to decide who makes the first call between them.
I understand songs have to come naturally and at the right time in order to be appreciated but the long desire in the fans to have these voices on a song is dying. When is the right time for Fancy Gadam and Maccasio? When will they ever find the time to record something for their fans who have longed for this to happen?
It is probably true that if they record a song together they will kill the behooving controversy between them which will eventually affect their patronage but does it matter to them anymore? Considering the fact that music fans in Tamale are gradually moving away from the fan base thing to becoming supportive for all.
Wiz Child and Fadlan who was almost made to take their shoes are both doing well now without any form of controversy between them, IsRahim have not had any grudges with any of his colleagues but has recorded a successful show few days ago with massive attendance.
Fancy Gadam himself is already and established and a super talented artist, he handles music like an everyday routine and that can be seen in his songs, he has the talent, the skill and ‘balls’.
He makes every song sound easy.
Maccasio is much more different. No doubt that his style of music especially rap is contagious, he has recently proven to be the best MC in Tamale after his encounter with Dobble Tee who from time passed has been a torn in his flesh.
For Maccasio, making music is both strategy and talent. He has a smart and a simple process to arriving at his music, and it works for him!
Now imagine a combination of Fancy Gadam and Maccasio’s ways of making music.
Maccasio is notably not deep lyrically, it’s an obvious thing about him in his songs. He makes it simple and put in the groove and energetic deliveries to make it a hit.
Now, with a collaboration with Fancy Gadam, he would probably have Ahmed Mujahid Bello assist him write deeper rap lyrics, Fancy Gadam got that missing item of Maccasio in him.
Fancy Gadam would work on writing the song lyrics, the song arrangements and maybe assist Maccasio compose the raps, make some tweaks to the beat while Maccasio will focus on his rhymes and making the track a hit.
In a nutshell, I believe collaboration between Fancy Gadam and Maccasio would be a monster hit!!
