BSA must face a serious sanction for attacking Tamale City FC – Sports Journalist Prince Mukadi

Ghanaian sports journalist, Prince Halid Mukadi Gbramoni has prayed the Ghana Football Association to place an immediate sanction on the Nsoatre’s side Baffaur Sports Academy for allegedly attacking Tamale City FC.

Social media reports say that fans of Baffour Sports Academy on yesterday, May 8, 2022 had attacked the Division One League leaders, Tamale City FC after a 1-1 draw against the home side (BSA) in Nsoatre in the Brong Ahafo region.

The Zaa TV’s journalist noted that clubs from the Northern region have over the years suffered frequent attacks and assaults from fans in the Brong Ahafo regions and has asked the Ghana Football Association to give the BSA a serious sanction to serve as a deterrent to the other clubs.

He wrote on his Facebook:

“The assaults on footballers must stop and the Ghana Football Association must make sure of that. BSA needs to be given a serious sanction so they can serve as a deterrent to others”.

“The Tamale based teams have always suffered these assaults in most of their away matches especially in Sunyani and the GFA must investigate and make sure these attacks come to seizure”

According to Tamale City in a report by Sagani TV’s Bawa Bugis, “7 members of their playing body, plus 1 official, are currently on admission at the Sunyani Hospital, following yesterday’s barbaric and inhumane treatment meted out to them by supporters of Baffour Sports Academy in Nsoatre.”
